I am doing well and appreciate everyone’s support, especially my school and work colleagues, friends, and family. I’m regaining my spirit and strength, and hope to be walking nearly full-time in the next couple of years, patience and hard-work are inevitable. I will graduate with a PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2015. I am looking forward to my next adventure once I graduate!!!
Thank you for your support. Stay happy and healthy.

A special thanks to Kelly Nelson and the Andrew High School committee who are organizing and donating funds to AAM for our 20th year high school reunion.
I recently developed a children’s book about malaria and sent copies of the books to schools in Ghana. The book is titled, A Real-life Story of a Girl’s Struggle with Malaria, and my nieces, nephew, and friend Nichole Tinaglia Hoehn, helped draw some of the pictures featured in the book.
My next goal is to collaborate with my niece, Devin Dubsky, to create another educational resource that will be sent to Ghana in order to educate children about malaria.
