AAM's Mission: To support the education, treatment and prevention of Malaria in Ghana, Africa, and other malaria endemic regions
Dawn Dubsky, pictured above on left, is the founder of America Against Malaria.  Dawn contracted malaria in February 2008 while traveling in Ghana, Africa, and as a result of sepsis lost her limbs.

Dawn knows that with hard work, strength and determination, she will make a difference in the world, and turn this overwhelming loss into substantial gain in her life and the lives of others.

Dawn's vision is to save lives in malaria endemic regions by educating the public on malaria and sharing her story.

Team AAM runner in NYC Marathon

Tina Boogren is running the November 7th 2010 NYC Marathon on my behalf, and for America Against Malaria. Tina Boogren is a dear friend of mine.  She has been a huge supporter of mine, has gone above and beyond to assist me on many different levels, and really believes in me.  We were introduced by my dear friend, fellow nursing student, Michelle Stelter.  Since Tina and I met, I knew she’d be a part of my life in a good way.

When I lost my limbs, she was there for me.  She provides me with genuine, life advice, and I am so happy she supports my goals, and global issues such as malaria.  Plus she is super funny, and I love hanging out and laughing with her.

Please support her running the NYC Marathon by making a contribution to AAM.  Tina, thank you and good luck.

Love, Dawn
